A 55-year-old Estonian man who lost his job two months ago sent 22 local millionaires and other successful businessmen a letter asking them for a job, reported ERR.

The former security guard who earns 76 euros a month told investigative TV program Eyewitness that he chose the names at random from the Äripäev list of Estonia’s richest businessmen.

He wrote in his letter that if they cannot hire him, perhaps they could help him buy a rubber boat so that he can go fishing and sell his catch in local villages.

Five addressees replied politely that they cannot help, but one – Galina Ignatenko, owner of Eesti Mereagentuur – decided to help him buy a rubber boat that cost 200 euros.

“I was moved since he lost his job at the age of 55 and it could be forever,” she explained.
