School closed over anonymous school shooting threat

The police have closed Tartu Kommertsgümnaasium in Tartu after an anonymous person threatened to organise school shooting this morning.

According to ERR, the posting was made in English in an online portal located outside Estonia.

In the message, the person who claimed he was an Estonian and was in 10th grade allegedly promised to surpass the "record" of Seung-Hui Cho who in 2007 killed 32 studends and injured 25 in the Virgina Technical University because "he was tired of his classmates". The same person added that his father was a "military".

The police have closed the school for today and the local Defence Leage unit is reportedly searching through its members' database.
