Urmas Sõõrumaa acquires security services firm K Grupp
18.11.2009, 16:29Urmas Sõõrumaa, Estonian businessman and founder of Falck, has acquired all shares of K Grupp Turvateenused, writes Äripäev.
Sõõrumaa who acquired the shares from Margus Laas said in comment that he had been involved in the security business for the last 18 years not only in Estonia, but also abroad. "I know this field well and believe that in tough times it is best to consolidate your business," said Sõõrumaa.
Sõõrumaa said that K Grupp was a strong company that had the potential to become the leader of the Estonian security services market.

K Grupp was founded in 1999 and offers manned guards, installation and maintenance of security systems and security training.
K Grupp ended last year with sales of 35 million kroons. Its largest customers are Eesti Raudtee, Reval Hotels and Comarket
